On New Year's Eve, the church held an excellent worship service and youth event. Our team arrived at the church at 7:00 pm along with our Chinese friend from the hotel.

Before Liz and I left for India, we got word some of our ministry plans fell through with a church in a nearby village to Pune. As our schedule was already set, we ended up with a free day. For me, this was a bit upsetting - I didn't travel around the world to sit in a hotel room for a day.

Leading up to the trip, I was praying for God to put our team in situations where we could interact with people who don't know Him. I prayed for got to open up opportunities for us to share the Gospel. He did...just not in the way I expected. Here is what happened:
